Silicon oscillators product overview

 

In general, silicon oscillators are characterized as oscillators in which a quartz resonator is not used as a reference clock. Silicon oscillators can be equipped with MEMS-based resonators or other types of clock generation. Our silicon oscillators function similarly to the oscillators known in the conventional terminology as MEMS. Additionally, our silicon oscillators feature a silicon-based resonator that is used for clocking the oscillator ICs.
