The clocking specialist PETERMANN-TECHNIK from Landsberg am Lech offers extremely durable and cost-effective multi-use automotive oscillators in accordance with AECQ100 for ADAS and ASIL applications with the LPO-AUT, HTLPO-AUT and WTLPO-AUT series. These low power oscillators are available in the frequency range of 1 - 137 MHz, or depending on the version, in the temperature range of up to -55/+125°C with frequency stabilities from ±20ppm. Sample oscillators can be dispatched immediately from stock. With an MTBF of 1,000 million hours, coupled with 50,000g shock and 70g vibration resistance, these automotive oscillators are extremely durable and resistant to shock and vibration, making them ideal for use in all automotive applications. In order to be used in EMC-critical environments, the customer can utilise the SoftLevel function. This function slows down the output signal so that EMC attenuation of the 11th harmonic by over -60 dB can be realised. Enormous for a customisation that does not cost the customer any additional money. To save money in the entire design-in process, also in future projects, all automotive oscillators are available in the VDD range of 2.25 - 3.63 VDC. Gone are the days when a separate oscillator had to be qualified for each supply voltage. The automotive oscillators are of course available in all standard QFN housings from 2.0x1.6mm - 7x5mm. We recommend the 2.0x1.6mm or the 2.5x2.0mm 4pad housing for new developments.
