The dimensions of the quartz resonator for generating a specific frequency are matched to the corresponding housing and the quartz resonator itself is sawn out of a synthetic quartz block of the highest purity using a cutting angle specified via 4 coordinates (normally AT-cut or AT-CUT). The resonator is then lapped in several stages, pre-metallised, mounted in the housing and then final metallised before the housing is sealed in a vacuum environment. That is the simplified theory. In practice, however, we rely on 31 patents for the production of the SMD LRT resonant crystals we supply and exclusively develop and manufacture resistance-optimised resonator designs ourselves, so that we achieve outstanding results. If lower frequencies with even lower resistances are required, we recommend using the LRT oscillating crystals in 7.0x5.0mm/4pad or 7.0x5.0mm/2pad, in 6.0x3.5mm/4pad or 6.0x3.5mm/2pad, or in 5.0x3.2mm/4pad or 5.0x3.2mm/2pad.
