MINI-SMD QUARTZ FOR PORTABLE APPLICATIONS

The clocking specialist PETERMANN-TECHNIK from Landsberg/Lech presents high performance low cost MINI-SMD crystals for portable applications in various very small package dimensions. These are available in ceramic packages measuring 1.6 x 1.2 x 0.3 mm (SMD01612/4 series), 2.0 x 1.6 x 0.45 mm (SMD02016/4 series), 2.5 x 2.0 x 0.6 mm (SMD02502/4 series) and 3.2 x 2.5 x 0.6 mm (SMD03025/4 series). All crystals are available in an extended temperature range of up to -40/+125 °C and with frequency tolerances at 25 °C from ±8 ppm. The temperature stability can be selected in the range from +-8ppm above 0/+70 °C to +-50 ppm above -40/+125 °C. This means that narrow-band radio modules can also be realised. If MINI-SMD crystals with 32.768 kHz are also used, the PETERMANN-TECHNIK product range also includes cost-effective solutions in the ceramic housings 3.2 x 1.5 x 0.8 mm (M3215 series), 2.0 x 1.2 x 0.55 mm (M2015 series) and 1.6x1.0x0.45mm (M1610 series). The standard frequency tolerance of the 32.768 kHz crystals at 25 °C is +-20 ppm, ±10 ppm versions are available on request. The standard temperature range for all 32,768 kHz crystals is -40/+85 °C, versions with up to -40/+125°C are available on request.
