GIGANTIC - 2.5 x 2.0 MM MINI-SMD QUARTZ UP TO 125 MHz IN THE BASE TONE

The clocking specialist PETERMANN-TECHNIK from Landsberg/Lech presents the industry first MINI-SMD crystal in a 2.5 x 2.0 mm/4pad ceramic housing in the gigantic wide fundamental frequency spectrum of 12.0 ~ 125.0 MHz. This MINI-SMD crystal can be supplied with a frequency tolerance of +- 10 ppm and a temperature stability from +- 8 ppm. The user can choose from ageing values of +- 1 ppm ~ +- 3 ppm/year, so that depending on the choice of frequency tolerances, narrowband and broadband wireless applications can be realised. The crystals, which can be switched by a simple Pierce oscillator (with 2 external capacitances to GND), can thus also replace high-frequency 3rd overtone crystals and high-frequency crystal oscillators (if this is possible with the IC used). In addition to wireless, this crystal can also be used in telecoms, medical and industrial applications and offers circuit designers unimaginably simple possibilities thanks to the very high fundamental tone range.
