Many market leaders have cancelled the production and availability of 7.0x5.0mm crystals with 2 and 4 solder pads with immediate effect. This has resulted in enormous uncertainty for all users of this quartz series worldwide, demand can no longer be met on time, assembly lines are at a standstill and financial resources are being burnt. Normally, customers are requested by the relevant suppliers/manufacturers to redesign the PCB in order to use smaller SMD crystals.
