SMD crystal oscillators with low ESR, reliable start-up behaviour, suitable load capacity and long-term availability are suitable for battery-powered IoT devices.PETERMANN-TECHNIK offers SMD LRT MHz crystal oscillators and 32.768 kHz clock crystalsthat reliably support low-power designs.
IoT and IIoT devices often operate in sleep mode and wake up only briefly for measurement, processing or wireless transmission. In doing so, the clock source must be available quickly and reliably. Any unnecessarily long start-up process and any unstable oscillator circuit can consume energy. For battery-powered IoT products, two clock solutions are therefore often crucial: an MHz crystal oscillator for the SoC/radio IC and a 32.768-kHz clock crystal for the microcontroller’s RTC and low-power functions. Both must operate reliably.
PETERMANN-TECHNIK GmbH supports IoT developers in selecting suitable SMD LRT resonant crystals and clock crystals. Our LOW-ESR technology, 100 per cent testing and design-in consultancy help to make low-power applications more reliable and durable.
Customers benefit from faster product search, sample availability, technical support and components suitable for long-term use. In this way, PETERMANN-TECHNIK enhances the battery life, reliability and marketability of IoT products.
